According to Netflix, in season 5—which was originally supposed to be the final season, but now will be the penultimate year—”the stakes are higher than ever. Secrets will be revealed, beloved characters will die, and we’ll finally get an answer to the question, ‘will they or won’t they?'”

Little Voice season 1 songs

Apple TV+ debuted its new musical drama LITTLE VOICE with three episodes on Friday, July 10, and with it came some incredible music—a mix of covers and originals for the show.

“The songs came in different ways,” LITTLE VOICE co-creator Jessie Nelson previously shared. “Sometimes I would have an idea for what I wanted an episode to be about, and I would ask [co-creator] Sara [Bareilles] to write a song that sort of spoke to the theme of the episode. And then other songs Sara had written a while ago. One song she’d even written 20 years ago, the [theme] song ‘Little Voice,’ she wrote for her original album, and they wouldn’t let her put it on it. So it existed for us in a little time capsule of who she was when she was 23. So that was a very organic process of seeing which songs fit in which episode and how we wanted to kind of tee them up.”

Enjoying the show so far and want to play the songs on repeat? They’re available to buy on iTunes and to stream below… Read more

CELEBRITY WATCH PARTY, HOLEY MOLEY, and DON'T

HOLEY MOLEY – “Love at First Stroke” – Chris Harrison swings by the “Holey Moley” course for a special love-themed episode where contestants compete for a romantic date in the final round on Double Dutch Courage. Eight single mini-golfers see if they can hit it off while they tee it off, hoping to fall in love before they fall into the icy water. Tricky ball placements on Hole Number Two lead to trick shot attempts, while a contestant’s near-perfect putt is derailed on Uranus; and the “Holey Moley” lifeguard becomes one competitor’s knight in shining armor as he saves her from the soapy Putter Ducky water. Elsewhere, Chris Harrison teaches Jeannie Mai how to pick the perfect rose, all before the most dramatic final putt in “Holey Moley” history on THURSDAY, JULY 9 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

(Though the show is called LITTLE VOICE, the name of Bareilles’ first major album, the show is not autobiographical.)
