According to the network, “the new version of WEAKEST LINK will deliver the fast-paced and quick-witted pillars of the original British format created by the BBC with a few modern twists. The hybrid game show sees contestants answer general knowledge questions to bank prize money across multiple rounds. “I was originally inspired to write this track when series one of THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY was being shot; by the time I finished it 2020 was in full swing, the world had taken a profound turn and the song was finished in a surreal new reality,” Way said in a statement. Nearly a decade after Christopher Meloni left LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, he’s set to reprise his Elliot Stabler character on the franchise’s latest spinoff, LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME. And while the actor had been consistent in saying he would consider a possible guest starring return to the series he spent 12 seasons on, he acknowledged in a new interview that the spinoff came out of left field.

Television marathons are nothing new on cable networks—turn on Comedy Central, FXX, ION, WGN America, etc. and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a day you can’t binge a show. Each channel approaches things in their own way: some with designated days per show, others with frequently themed blocks, and, of course, there’s still the more straight-forward approach with consecutive episodes.
But even with the variety, nothing has been handled as well as the recent PSYCH “Psychtacular” marathon on USA Network.
