CHICAGO MED: Brian Tee, S. Epatha Merkerson, and Nick Gehlfuss Preview Steven Weber’s Guest Arc

When Steven Weber’s Dr. Dean Archer joins CHICAGO MED in March, trouble is around the corner.

“Steven comes in and definitely shakes things up,” Brian Tee (Ethan) previewed during the (virtual) One Chicago Day junket. “He was my senior medical officer in the Navy. I think he was brought in to really help me facilitate this chief role. But in doing so, almost sticks his head into too many places, and really kind of stirs up the ED for all of us.”

While it’s still TBD who else Dr. Archer will be mixing things up with during his tenure on the show, S. Epatha Merkerson praised CHICAGO ME for getting him.

“The casting is really exceptional,” she gushed. “When I watch the shows, especially because I’m not always in the ED [scenes], I’m always impressed by how the shows have been cast. And Steven is just another example of the high quality of casting on the show.”
