About Last Night…CHICAGO FIRE, SEAL TEAM, CHICAGO P.D., and More
February 18, 2021 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!
CHICAGO MED: Uhhhhhh, Ethan, returning back to work after surgery is maybe not the smartest thing you’ve done? Oy. I’m glad he put on forced medical leave, so hopefully he is able to calm down a bit.
CHICAGO FIRE: I’m so glad Casey and Severide were able to track down the man who set fire to the homeless encampment. I figured it was one of the two people we saw at the start, but I’m glad there were real consequences.
Cruz is going to name the baby after Otis, isn’t he? (100% chance I’ll cry when he does.)
SEAL TEAM: I absolutely expected Jason to return as Bravo One, but I’m curious how it’ll work. Can it be as simple for him as just jumping back in? Is there procedure/does he have to go through tests, etc.?
But, man, I’m going to miss Blackburn.
CHICAGO P.D.: Oh, I loved this episode. I’m so glad the show isn’t dropping the ball on the discussion of police reform, and it makes sense why Ruzek is struggling. He meant to do good by helping Tommy, but the situation got…bad. Patrick John Flueger was incredible as he tried to balance his desire to solve the case, but also get his friend out of the situation safely, and that final scene between Ruzek and Voight broke my heart.
(For more on the episode, here’s what Flueger had to say.)
