Hulu Renews ANIMANIACS, Sets LOVE, VICTOR Return, and Orders IRON MIKE

Hulu announced a gaggle of news at its TCA session.
The streaming platform has renewed ANIMANIACS for a third season ahead of its season 2 premiere. (The sophomore season will debut later in 2021.)
Additionally, season 2 of LOVE, VICTOR will be released on Friday, June 11, with all ten episodes dropping at once. In the new year, “a newly out-of-the-closet Victor (Michael Cimino) entering his junior year at Creekwood High. However, being out brings new challenges as Victor faces a family struggling with his revelation, a heartbroken ex-girlfriend in Mia (Rachel Naomi Hilson), and the difficulties of being an openly gay star athlete — all while navigating the excitement of his new relationship with Benji (George Sear).”
The series also stars Ana Ortiz, James Martinez, Isabella Ferreira, Mateo Fernandez, Bebe Wood, Anthony Turpel, and Mason Gooding.
Hulu also ordered the eight-episode limited series IRON MIKE, which “explores the wild, tragic and controversial life and career behind one of the most polarizing figures in sports culture – heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.”
The series is created by Steven Rogers, with Karin Gist showrunning.
