Dewey (Adrian Groulx) has a very memorable day with Andre the Giant (Matthew Willig) on the Tuesday, March 30 episode of YOUNG ROCK.
“It’s that old story of big giant beast, but soft heart,” Willig told reporters in the video below. “And you have a little ten-year-old Dewey who is looking for answers and looking for his identity, and his sort of place in the world, where the wrestling world is so crazy and things are going on, and he’s not getting heard or he’s not getting what he wants.”
“It goes from Andre giving him some advice about life and the world, to going the other way around, and a little ten-year-old Dewey sort of giving Andre life lessons about how he fits in the world,” he continued. “It’s this both ends of the spectrum, coming together—two outcasts, so to speak, kind of relying on each other, giving each other advice.”
