Fox has ordered its new drama THE CLEANING LADY to series.
The one-hour series, from Miranda Kwok (with Melissa Carter showrunning), “is a darkly aspirational character drama about a whip-smart doctor who comes to the U.S. for a medical treatment to save her ailing son. But when the system fails and pushes her into hiding, she refuses to be beaten down and marginalized. Instead, she becomes a cleaning lady for the mob and starts playing the game by her own rules…”
THE CLEANING LADY, which is based upon the original Argentine series, stars Elodie Yung (playing Thony), Adan Canto (playing Arman), Martha Millan (playing Fiona), and Sebastien LaSalle & Valentino LaSalle (twins who will be playing the role of Luca).
The show joins previously ordered OUR KIND OF PEOPLE and THE BIG LEAP.
