SEAL TEAM and CLARICE May Move to Paramount+
May 14, 2021 by Marisa Roffman
With CBS expanding a number of its franchises for the 2021-2022 season—with FBI: INTERNATIONAL, NCIS: HAWAII, and the CSI revival—a couple of dramas may be heading to the network’s streaming platform, Paramount+, to be digital originals, Deadline reports.
The potential plan would find SEAL TEAM and CLARICE on the move. The David Boreanaz-led SEAL TEAM, which will be entering its fifth season, could have a handful of early episodes air on CBS before transitioning to its new, streaming home, where it has been a strong performer.
New series CLARICE has a P+ pedigree, with EP Alex Kurtzman the mastermind behind the streamers’ new STAR TREK shows. With the SILENCE OF THE LAMBS sequel doing well on Paramount+, the potential second season could live there.
A rep for the network declined to comment.
