Fox Renews 9-1-1 Duo, THE RESIDENT

Fox has renewed dramas 9-1-1, 9-1-1: LONE STAR, and THE RESIDENT.

The pickups are for season 5 of 9-1-1 and season 3 for its spinoff 9-1-1: LONE STAR. THE RESIDENT will be back for season 5.

THE RESIDENT will return to its Tuesday at 8/7c time slot, whereas 9-1-1 will continue to air Mondays at 8/7c, until it takes a break at midseason. Then, 9-1-1: LONE STAR will slide into the Mondays at 8/7c slot. The two 9-1-1s will air back-to-back this spring, with the Fox bosses teasing another crossover is in the works.
