About Last Night…PRESS YOUR LUCK, CRIME SCENE KITCHEN, and A MILLION LITTLE THINGS
June 3, 2021 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!
PRESS YOUR LUCK: Okay, having a dream item inspired by pop culture is relatable as hell. (One of my dream vacations is inspired by my favorite book series series from childhood, thank you very much.) It always sucks when the player whammies out at the end, but at least she seemed happy with what she got.
CRIME SCENE KITCHEN: I’m so curious how the contestants evolve now that they’re learning the “tricks” of the game. Now that they know items may be there and sealed, how fast will they actually process that? (Or in the panic of the time crunch, will it fly out of their heads?) And will the clues get increasingly difficult, going forward, now that people have had a feel for the competition?
(Also, I’m just going to want dessert every episode, huh?)
A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: Rome and Sophie’s conversation was one of my favorite scenes of the entire series. It was a beautifully raw moment as they talked about how close he came to ending his own life—on the day her father did—and why he got there.
Gary is the best friend, but, man, I hate it’s (almost certainly) going to cost him Darcy. But his friendship with Eddie really is so beautiful.
