About Last Night…CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, and THE CHASE

Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD: Given being on the show was a birthday present for Rob Lowe’s wife, Sheryl, it would have been absolutely awful if the Lowes hadn’t won. And, really, she ended up winning the final round for the team, too, given how bad Rob’s answers were. I mean, I know celebrity marriages are short-lived, but come on, a year isn’t a success. And consider he goes by a nickname, it’s hilarious he didn’t think of names for things that should be shortened.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: I really wish the show had gone all-in on the animated element. It’s not necessarily the easiest swap to make—but given the COVID of it all, it might have been easier, production-wise, this year than filming a live-action show—but LEGENDS has the framework to do an animated musical and it feel pretty normal. Alas.

THE CHASE: Okay, but how??? I really thought when the contestants got 20—and Ken got an answer wrong—they would get the money. But holy moly, Ken was incredible??

But the new fast pace was impressive. I didn’t have a problem with season 1, but season 2 felt like the show on caffeine. I’m curious to see how it plays out with the other Chasers.
