Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: Well, Simon should…probably sleep with one eye open for the rest of time, right? When it became clear they were going to fake an injury, I expected it to be to his arm—and for it to be on the whole audience/panel. NOPE. Instead, poor Sofia was the only one in the dark as they faked SHE SHOT HIM IN THE CHEST.

I cannot tell you how overjoyed I was to see Brooke Simpson audition. She was one of my favorite THE VOICE contestants over the years, and she should have a massive career. I hope this show gives her an additional platform to make it happen.

But, also, Simon, don’t tell a contestant right before they sing how much you hate a song…give them a chance? Jimmie Herrod handled it well—and got a Golden Buzzer from it—but that could have totally, understandably, derailed his audition.

THE FLASH: Are we finally getting a real Joe story?? It’s been so long since he had any storyline of note, so if they actually pursue this storyline on-screen of him searching for the new captain’s MIA “brother,” it would be a lovely change of pace.
