FBI Season 4 Premiere spoilers

“All that Glitters” – After a young woman is killed on her way home from a lavish yacht party, the team investigates who she was and how she came to be at the event attended by some of the most influential people in the world. Also, Maggie brings Crosby (Kellan Lutz, FBI: MOST WANTED) into the investigation after a murder suspect is identified as a veteran who had been on several Army operations with Crosby, in the first part of a special three-part crossover event and the fourth season premiere of FBI, Tuesday, Sept. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and available to stream live and on demand on the CBS app and Paramount+. The FBI franchise officially takes control of CBS’ Tuesday night lineup starting on September 21, and things are kicking off with a three-way crossover: with mothership FBI kicking off the night, FBI: MOST WANTED airing as hour 2, and new series FBI: INTERNATIONAL closing things out.

“The case revolves around an underage sex-trafficking ring, catering to the rich and famous,” FBI showrunner Rick Eid teased via email.

In the FBI hour, MOST WANTED’s Julian McMahon and Kellan Lutz guest star, when Maggie (Missy Peregrym) realizes she needs a bit of specialized help. (Though some of the FBI cast will appear in the MOST WANTED hour, the INTERNATIONAL characters will make their debut in their own show’s premiere.)

“Crossovers are challenging for many reasons,” Eid admitted. “The first leg of a three-part episode is actually the easiest. All we have to do is set the table for the next two hours. So, from my perspective, it was like writing a typical, stand-alone episode—but it doesn’t resolve itself at the end of the hour.”

FBI, Season Premiere, Tuesday, September 21, 8/7c, CBS
