About Last Night…THE VOICE, THE BIG LEAP, and ORDINARY JOE
October 12, 2021 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!
THE VOICE: Format-wise, I’m actually surprised they didn’t save the Girl Named Tom vs. Kinsey battle for the end given Kinsey got three steals and a save. (Which was a show first?!)
I actually really loved Kristin as a mentor, not just because she was good, but because it’s clear how important she’s been for Ariana in that same sphere.
THE BIG LEAP: Okay, I hope for Gabby’s sake she doesn’t actually love Reggie already…but I love them together.
Nick has already done some awful things, but it was also fascinating to see him in this light: both as a father (and oh my God, his daughter is a little producer in training) but also as a caretaker to Monica and Wayne. (I mean, I’m also saying this as he’s actively preparing to blow up Mike and Paula’s lives, so…he’s got layers.)
ORDINARY JOE: I don’t know if I’m alone, but right now I think I’m enjoying Nurse Joe the most, in part because Joe and his son together feel like the heart and soul of the show?
