About Last Night…THE VOICE and ORDINARY JOE

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Hooooooooow are voters going to kick someone off this week? Also, fans, some of those songs were absolutely bonkers to give to the contestants. Queen and Aretha are not easy artists to cover!!

ORDINARY JOE: It was absolutely zero surprise that Amy in Music world is pregnant. I am actually surprised they made it very, very clear Joe was not the father-to-be. And, God, I hope this is not leading to Nurse Joe cheating on Jenny.

The romanticizing of Joe’s father is interesting and kind of heartbreaking. The stuff said in Cop Joe’s Thanksgiving broke my heart—because, uhhhhh, don’t throw the dumb turkey centerpiece at your kid—and I do hope we get to dig into that a bit more at some point.

(Also the moment of the episode was Christopher being—correctly—indignant a potential caretaker was treating him like a dog or a baby and him exclaiming he was NINE.)
