LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME Scoop: Robin Lord Taylor to Recur

LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME’s next arc is adding another TV favorite to the mix: Robin Lord Taylor has joined the series in a recurring capacity, Give Me My Remote has learned.
Taylor will play Sebastian McClane, AKA Constantine, a notorious hacker, who is one of several high-security convicts on the run after a prison break. To try and track him down, Bell’s (Danielle Moné Truitt) task force—including OCCB hacker Jet (Ainsley Seiger)—is brought in.
And with Richard (Dylan McDermott) now no longer facing charges for the death of Kathy Stabler, Constantine will be “featured heavily” in the upcoming arc and “going to interact inextricably with Wheatley,” ORGANIZED CRIME showrunner Ilene Chaiken shares.
“This next group of episodes, which we call ‘Nemesis,’ is really about Stabler and Wheatley—it’s about Stabler versus Wheatley, in that most classic way,” she says. “But there are other characters [in play]. And there’s a new character, who is, in a sense, in between them…who you’ll meet in episode 10, which is the first official episode of the so-called Wheatley pod.”
And, yes, you can expect Constantine to cause a bit of mayhem. “He sets off a chain reaction of events that both Wheatley and Stabler swirl around,” Chaiken teases. “And he’s just a very cool character that I’m excited to bring to life.”
Taylor is best known for playing Oswald Cobblepot, AKA Penguin, on Fox’s GOTHAM. He’s also appeared on YOU, KEVIN CAN F**K HIMSELF, and THE WALKING DEAD. (Taylor is also no stranger to the LAW & ORDER universe, previously guest-starring on the mothership three times and once on SVU.)
Are you excited to see Taylor on ORGANIZED CRIME?
LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME returns Thursday, January 6 at 10/9c on NBC.
