ABC’s take on “Today Was a Fairytale”: “Dr. Hamilton takes his frustrations out on Meredith, so Nick gives her a chance to blow off steam by scrubbing in on a surgery. Back in Seattle, Link and Jo take their kids to a fairytale theater performance that goes wrong. Bailey and Dr. Lin attend a recruitment fair in hopes of attracting more doctors to Grey Sloan but find themselves ill-prepared. Guest starring is Peter Gallagher as Dr. David Hamilton, Lynn Chen as Dr. Michelle Lin and Greg Tarzan Davis as Dr. Jordan Wright. “Today Was a Fairytale” was written by Julie Wong and directed by Debbie Allen.”

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT’s ADA Carisi (Peter Scanavino) has faced a lot of tough cases over the past few seasons, but he runs into one of his biggest challenges in the L&O crossover event, as he is tasked with trying to convict ORGANIZED CRIME’s Richard Wheatley (Dylan McDermott)—who manged to evade all of the other criminal charges against him, in exchange for cooperating with authorities—for Kathy Stabler’s murder.

“What are you gonna do?” Scanavino laments. “I think Carisi, in this case, realizes it’s a bit of an uphill [battle]. He knows what has happened, what has occurred. But in terms of the evidence that he has, I think he knows it’s kind of sparse, so he’s got to really try to steer the case towards the prosecution as best as he can.”

Following Wheatley’s trial on the SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT hour of the LAW & ORDER: SVU and ORGANIZED CRIME crossover, the OC hour takes a different approach.

“It’s more of a family episode,” ORGANIZED CRIME star Danielle Moné Truitt (who plays Bell) previews. “And it’s very much centered around Stabler and Eli. Bell is kind of assisting Stabler with some issues that he’s having with Eli. So she’s more of a support in that episode for Stabler to get through to his son and help him.”
