FBI: MOST WANTED Adds Dylan McDermott

As Dylan McDermott gets ready to wrap up his latest arc on LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME (where he’s played Richard Wheatley off-on since the show’s debut), his next gig will keep him in the Dick Wolf family: the actor has joined FBI: MOST WANTED as the new team leader, a rep for the show has confirmed.

Original MOST WANTED lead Julian McMahon, who has played Jess LaCroix for the show’s first three seasons, is set to exit in March; McDermott will join the series in episode 17. And though the universes are technically connected (thanks to the CHICAGO P.D. crossover with FBI), McDermott will be playing a new character.

Deadline was first to report the casting.
