SLOW HORSES: Apple TV+ Sets April Launch for Spy Series

SLOW HORSES, an adaptation of the Mick Herron novel series by the same name, will debut Friday, April 1 on Apple TV+. The first two episodes of the show will drop at once, with new episodes bowing each Friday.

The six-episode Gary Oldman-led drama “follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 – Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career ending mistakes.” The series also stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, Jack Lowden, and Olivia Cooke.

SLOW HORSES was adapted for television by VEEP’s Will Smith, with Graham Yost, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gail Mutrux, and Douglas Urbanski also serving as executive producers on the series. Executive producer James Hawes directed all six episodes of the drama.
