LAW & ORDER: SVU Exclusive: Jake Weber, Diane Farr Set for Episode About Polarizing Radio Host

Jake Weber and Diane Farr will guest star on an upcoming episode of LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, Give Me My Remote has learned exclusively.

Weber will play Bob Flynn, a popular radio personality, in the Thursday, March 3 hour, “Video Killed the Radio Star.” Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is introduced to Flynn at a charity event—which she is invited to by Langan (returning guest star Peter Hermann)—where the radio host is serving as the night’s emcee.

But when allegations are made against Flynn, the SVU captain is quickly on the case. As things gets progressively messier, Detective Rollins (Kelli Giddish) is tasked with going undercover.

Farr will play Lola, a business associate of Flynn’s, who may also be a witness to a crime.

Weber’s TV credits include MEDIUM, HOMELAND, and STAR TREK: DISCOVERY; he previously guest starred on on a 1990 episode of LAW & ORDER and a 2001 episode of LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT.

Farr previously starred in NUMB3RS and SPLITTING UP TOGETHER, with recent guest spots on CHARMED and THE GOOD DOCTOR.

The long-running procedural returns with new episodes on Thursday, February 24, as part of the new LAW & ORDER Thursday block. The revival of LAW & ORDER kicks off the night at 8/7c, with SVU at a special 9:05/8:05c start time, and ORGANIZED CRIME closing things out at 10:02/9:02c. (Lisa Joyce, Betty Buckley, and Ari’el Stachel are set to guest star on the Thursday, February 24 episode of SVU.)
