LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME: Ilene Chaiken Exits, Barry O’Brien to Serve as Showrunner

LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME is undergoing a showrunning change: Ilene Chaiken has exited the NBC drama, with Barry O’Brien stepping in to lead the rest of the sophomore season.
Chaiken, who previously ran THE L WORD and EMPIRE, joined OC in 2020, after original showrunner Matt Olmstead departed.
O’Brien, who joined OC in season 2, previously worked on CASTLE, THE FOLLOWING, and CSI: MIAMI.
