LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME: Former SVU Star Dann Florek to Guest Star

LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME is digging into Stabler’s (Christopher Meloni) father’s past, and bringing back a familiar face to do it: Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) will guest star in the April 7 episode, Give Me My Remote has confirmed.

In the episode, “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” “Donnelly’s (Denis Leary) version of events don’t match up to what Stabler remembers about his father’s heroic rescue on the job.” Looking for answers, Elliot turns to his former captain—and friend—to get to the bottom of what really happened.

Cragen last popped up in the LAW & ORDER world in SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT’s 500th episode, sharing information about the case they were working via FaceTime—and taking the opportunity to tell Olivia (Mariska Hargitay) how proud he was that she was now the captain of the unit. (Despite Hargitay’s Benson being a frequent guest on OC, however, she will not appear in “Can’t Knock the Hustle.”)

Florek starred on the mothership from 1990-93, and on SVU from 1999-2014.
