About Last Night…MASTERCHEF JUNIOR and GREY’S ANATOMY
March 25, 2022 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!
MASTERCHEF JUNIOR: I don’t get throwing the pizzas on the floor! Even if they stuck, giving them a chance is better than nothing!
But, man, that blindfolded challenge was hard. Not as hard as the wall of terror from the premiere, but cauliflower couscous is not an easy thing to nail down with no guidance. (Mayo + couscous…my goodness, no, no, no, no, no.)
GREY’S ANATOMY: Okay, Todd and Jo were very, very, very cute, but Skylar Astin being a guest star (with a role on a pilot) makes me very nervous. I don’t think they’ll Denny him, since he’s obviously not a patient, but it’s hard to get overly invested when it feels destined to be short-term.
I’m really glad Teddy and Owen finally worked their stuff out. Teddy’s reaction felt odd, especially since she noted it wasn’t like this was something she was fundamentally against. But hearing that she felt like it was removing her from their team—because Owen’s actions could have impacted their marriage and kids—made a bit more sense. Maybe they’ll get five minutes of happiness now?
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, so much no to that snake, thanks. It felt like something out of season 3/4, when the cases were more than a little crazy, even if you knew they had to be somewhat realistic. The guys’ excitement after they successfully removed it from the patient, though, was hilarious.
