About Last Night…MASTERCHEF JUNIOR and GHOSTS
April 22, 2022 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!
MASTERCHEF JUNIOR: Giving the kids walnuts to work with was fascinating, because there were so many ways they could go with their dishes—it wasn’t just everyone trying to do a unique take on a protein, this was an ingredient that could be used in so many food options.
But, also, those kids and the flambé?! HOW? It also felt like it threw a lot more contestants than normal thrown by everything…I felt so bad for them.
GHOSTS: My heart. Sam opting to not risk losing her connection to the ghosts in order to break the curse?? Perfection. As was the ghosts’ thanks to her. Obviously we know there’s no show if she can’t communicate with them, so it wasn’t really at risk, but they didn’t know that.
I’m so glad for Isaac and Nigel they have a chance to start something now. (But also literally laughed out loud at Hetty throwing HAMILTON references at Isaac as a way to hype him up. Poor Isaac will never escape that man now that the house knows how catchy that musical is.)
I’m so curious how/when the show picks up next season. Will they bypass the repairs and the B&B be on the verge of opening again? Will we pick up right where they left off? No matter what, I can’t wait until they come back.
