FBI: INTERNATIONAL: Derek Haas Teases the ‘Action-Packed Thrill Ride’ Season Finale

“Crestfallen” – When a private jet carrying American citizens is shot down over Europe, the Fly Team looks into the man who missed the flight. Also, Forrester is conflicted when he receives information on a case from his mother, Angela (Elizabeth Mitchell), on the first season finale of the CBS Original series FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, May 24 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

On the first season finale of FBI: INTERNATIONAL, the Fly Team investigates a private jet that was shot down mid-flight—and the passenger who didn’t board as planned.
“The finale is an action-packed thrill ride…a real Jason Bourne-type story unfolding in Europe,” showrunner Derek Haas previews via email. “It’s gonna be rough going for the Fly Team.”
As the team tries to deal with their case, leader Scott (Luke Kleintank) is once again drawn into his on-the-run mother’s web when Angela (Elizabeth Mitchell) reaches out with an offer.
“Scott’s mom will be back in action in the finale, and Scott will still be trying to get some answers to some difficult questions regarding her loyalties,” Haas notes. “In fact, his own career and life will be in jeopardy as a direct consequence.”
But, naturally, things won’t resolve in the episode. “I love cliffhangers!” Haas teases. “Of course there’s going to be a cliffhanger.”
