Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

MASTERCHEF JUNIOR: I would be fine never seeing salmon get filleted again. But good for Grayson for helping Ivy get a salmon, because that thing was almost bigger than her! I love how supportive the kids are of each other, despite being competitors.

Alexander coming back was great. It’s one thing to have past contestants come back on reality shows—and that’s always great—but there’s something special when someone who also experienced this overwhelming thing as a kid can talk to them from a slightly older/wiser perspective. He had the right amount of empathy and knowledge to pass along.

In hour 2, I was stressed for the chefs as they had to tag team with the wrestlers. I’m glad it was just competing for a prize, because if elimination had been at stake, it could have derailed so much—especially with the wrestlers responsible for finishing the dishes and plating.

I’m not going to lie—I spent much of the time the kids were cooking that ravioli trying to figure out where it might be near me. It seems like SO much work, but also looks so delicious?!

Saying goodbye to the kids is (almost) always sad, but these two eliminations felt extra emotional. It was so sad how everyone got emotional over Eva. But, man, having all of the contestants down there when Molly was eliminated meant the kids smothered her with love before Gordon could even get all of his farewell statements out.

This final 3, though…I truly have no clue who is going to win.
