Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: It was a good final audition episode, but I was expecting something absolutely show-stopping.

I know he won’t be for anyone—and I don’t know how he’d be as a longer act—but Don McMillan made me laugh. Maxence Vire’s magic act also was impressive and amusing. And it was very sweet how excited Freckled Zelda was to make it through. (I didn’t expect her to be good, either.)

Ava Swiss had an absolutely heartbreaking story, but the warning before her audition made me worry something had happened post-audition. I wish that (understandable!) warning had been phrased better to reflect the sensitive nature of the topic rather than what we got.

(Did not love the final audition of the season being Sethward, though. Let us end the season’s acts with something new and amazing, not…that.)
