AMERICAN IDOL: Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Ryan Seacrest to Return

Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie have signed on to return to AMERICAN IDOL, ABC announced. This will mark the trio’s sixth season judging the singing competition series. Host Ryan Seacrest, who has been with the show since it’s start at Fox, will also return.

Auditions for the upcoming season kick off on Wednesday, August 3, as they resume “Idol Across America”—the live virtual nationwide search for the next Idol.
