ANDOR: Disney+ Pushes Back Premiere, Releases New Trailer and Key Art

ANDOR’s series debut will launch a little later than initially planned—the ROGUE ONE prequel will now bow on Wednesday, September 21, with three episodes. (Initially, its premiere was set for August.) The rest of the 12-episode freshman series will roll out weekly.
According to Disney+, ANDOR “explores a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.”

The series stars Diego Luna, who returns as Cassian Andor. Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Fiona Shaw co-star in the show. Tony Gilroy created the series, which is also executive produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Luna, and Michelle Rejwan.
