SUPERMAN & LOIS: Jordan Elsass Exits, Jonathan to be Recast

Jordan Elsass has exited SUPERMAN & LOIS ahead of the upcoming third season. Elsass has played Jonathan Kent since the series debuted.

“Jordan Elsass has notified the Studio that he will not be returning to SUPERMAN & LOIS for season three due to personal reasons,” Warner Bros. Television said in a statement. “The role of Jonathan Kent will be recast.”

A source confirms Elsass did not return to Vancouver (where the show films) by the deadline given to the cast to report for season 3; his exit is not workplace-related.

Season 2 starred Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Alex Garfin, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wole Parks, Sofia Hasmik , Taylor Buck, and Dylan Walsh.

Variety was first to report Elsass’ exit.
