LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT Boss Reveals Kelli Giddish’s Final Episode
August 29, 2022 by Marisa Roffman
Kelli Giddish’s final appearance as a regular on LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT will be episode 9 of the upcoming 24th season, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT boss David Graziano shared on Instagram. Giddish started playing Detective Amanda Rollins on the long-running drama in 2011.
“I already know how we’re going to say goodbye (for now) to her,” Graziano wrote in another comment. “It will be an honest exploration of sisterhood, chosen family, redemption and hope – with a storyline tailor made for our two female powerhouses. Love will prevail for Rollisi, because I’m a romantic like that 🤓”
Longtime SVU executive producer Julie Martin posted on Twitter last week that Rollisi—the coupling of Rollins and Peter Scanavino‘s Carisi—“will have a happy ending. Stay tuned.“
News of Giddish’s upcoming exit broke last week. “Playing Rollins has been one of the greatest joys and privileges of my life,” she said in a statement at the time. “I’ve been so fortunate to be a part of the LAW & ORDER family for the last 12 years. There is simply no other character on TV like Rollins. She’s grown and changed, and I have as well. I started on this show when I was in my late 20s and I’m grateful I got to spend so many of my adult years with Rollins in my life.”

Hello
Who ever master mined the elimination of Det Rollins made a blunder as bad as when the Mets trained Nolan Ryan and Tom ( Terrific) Seaver.
Personally it was wonderful when Stabler returned that was BIG a breath of fresh air. Now the air has been taken out of my lungs.
Please get her back before Kelli (Det.Rollins) get picked up by another show or network!
This is Bad
