STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS: Carol Kane Joins Season 2

Carol Kane has joined STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS, it was announced at STAR TREK DAY. Kane will play Pelia, who is described as “highly educated and intelligent, this engineer suffers no fools. Pelia solves problems calmly and brusquely, thanks to her many years of experience.”
She joins Paul Wesley, who is playing James T. Kirk, as notable additions to the STRANGE NEW WORLDS series in the show’s sophomore season.

The series, which follows Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock, Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M’Benga, and Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas.
