NBC Orders Mike O’Malley-Penned Comedy Starring Jon Cryer, Donald Faison, and Abigail Spencer

NBC has ordered a new untitled comedy from Mike O’Malley to series.

According to the network, “After an amicable divorce, Jim and Julia decide to continue to raise their kids at the family home while taking turns on who gets to stay with them. Navigating the waters of divorce and child-sharing gets more complicated for Jim when the owner of his favorite sports team enters the picture and wins Julia’s heart.” The comedy stars Jon Cryer (who also serves as an EP), Donald Faison, Abigail Spencer, Finn Sweeney, and Sofia Capanna.

O’Malley serves as an executive producer, alongside Tom Werner, Wyc Grousbeck, Emilia Fazzalari, and George Geyer.
