About Last Night…FBI, THE VOICE, FBI: INTERNATIONAL, and More
October 12, 2022 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!
FBI: Zeeko Zaki was great in the hour, as OA just could not cope with the reality of what happened to him. It makes sense, even if it was heartbreaking to watch, that he would misrepresent the situation—claim he gave up his wallet with no fight, pretend there had been no trauma, and that he hadn’t seen anything—to hold on to whatever control he could…even when others were trying to guide him to the truth, as kindly as they could.
[For more on the episode, here’s what Zaki shared.]
THE VOICE: Oh, the Battles are always heartbreakers. Too many good/great people go home by design, and it’s always hard. But, on the bright side, we get some incredible performances. And this batch was really great. I’m actually shocked by how much I loved “Wrecking Ball,” which, yes, was the duet of the night and well-deserved for using Camila’s only save.
FBI: INTERNATIONAL: This episode was not what I expected, at all, but in a kind of great way. A FLY TEAM-SANCTIONED JAILBREAK?! (I’m sure there were probably a lot of reasons they shouldn’t have done that, but wow the team worked well together and were general badasses. That was a lot of action sequences, too, between that and the subsequent car chases.) A lot of fun.
FBI: MOST WANTED: Well, we’ve achieved a new nightmare scenario: dig yourself out of your own grave, only to die anyway.
