GHOSTS: Sheila Carrasco Previews Flower and Thor’s Relationship ‘Journey’ in Season 2

While the ghosts on GHOSTS have spent a lot of time together, the dynamics are ever-changing. And for Flower (Sheila Carrasco) and Thorfinn (Devan Chandler Long), that could mean romance in the future.

“I think that they’re gonna go on a journey this season,” Carrasco previews to Give Me My Remote. “Thorfinn has a lot of work to do before Flower will take him, as a romantic interest, more seriously. The main reason being that she’s a lover not a fighter, and he is a Viking—he talks about dismembering Danish people a lot, and eating his best friends that are animals. So his violent side is a real turnoff for her. That’s something that’s so essential to his persona, as well.”

“But at the same time, he’s a very deep soul,” she continues. “He’s very wise. He’s actually very connected to his emotions. I think it’s a total softie, and Flower really, really loves that about him. So I think she’s very conflicted about her emotions with him, and we’re going to delve into that more. Hopefully they can work past all that—and I think they might.”

Thor makes a grand gesture on the Thursday, October 20 episode, “The Tree,” when he tries (and goes, um, to extreme lengths) to be eco-friendly.

“She wants to get through to him, because she can see how passionate he is, and I think she doesn’t necessarily think that she will,” Carrasco admits. “So I think she actually is very surprised when she may get through to him; he may actually be listening to her. And that to me is the key for the journey of the relationship. Is it possible that he can change? Is he capable of this change? And so I think, in a way, this episode sets the stage for what they will go through in season 2.”
