About Last Night…THE VOICE and QUANTUM LEAP

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: A solid night, but Ian Harrison and Alyssa Witrado’s “Happier Than Ever” was far and away the highlight of the Battles. I’m so glad both are moving on, because it was very, very deserved.

QUANTUM LEAP: Okay, why the heck was Ben trying to leap to the future?! (And how far? Are we talking within his lifetime, or, like, 3500??)

And LeaperX…he seemed awful believable. What the heck is going on?!

It was an odd Leap of the Week, because I was hyperaware the original pilot had Ben leaping to this time frame, so I kept wondering how much was how they intended to start the series and how much was entirely new.

I’ll admit, I laughed when I saw the “666” hint for the next leap. That’s quite the way to set up (I presume) a Halloween episode.
