LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT Scoop: Greg Grunberg to Guest Star

Greg Grunberg will guest star on the Thursday, November 17 episode of LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, Give Me My Remote has learned.

Grunberg will play a detective in the hour, “A Better Person,” but, unfortunately, his reasons for encountering the squad are personal: He wants the One-Six to find his child’s killer. SVU’s Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) tries to help the detective both with his grief and as he attempts to investigate what’s going on himself.

This marks Grunberg’s first time in the LAW & ORDER world, and he (vaguely) gushed about the experience while filming the hour. “I’m not allowed to talk about what I’m shooting right now in New York,” he wrote on Twitter. “But it’s one of the best working experiences I’ve ever had. Absolute pros. Great great cast. Incredible director & crew. And the writing… stellar.”

Grunberg is a TV vet, best known for roles in HEROES, ALIAS, and FELICITY. Most recently, he’s been on THE ROOKIE, 9-1-1: LONE STAR, CASTLE ROCK, THE FLASH, and GOLIATH.
