Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Every once in a while there’s a tech issue or a real-life incident that makes its way into the live shows, but I can’t recall the last time it happened week 1. Kate Kalvach was an absolute pro—and sounded great—as she navigated not being able to hear herself while singing.

But, outside of the technical hiccup, it was a good first live show. I think Team Legend was my early standouts, but every team had at least one really good performance and I’m struggling to figure out who might be eliminated on Tuesday. A really solid Top 16, so far. (On the flip side, I’m worried we have a brutal shock ahead for the elimination, but I hope I’m wrong about that.)
