THE VOICE Top 8 on Tackling Whitney Houston Duets

THE VOICE top 8 found themselves facing quite test on the Monday, December 5 episode of the singing competition: doing a duet (with a fellow contestant) of a Whitney Houston song.
“When they told us that we were going to be covering Whitney, I said, ‘No, we’re not. We’re not doing that,'” Team Gwen’s Justin Aaron jokingly recalled to reporters in the video below. “People can sing Whitney…[but] there’s only one Whitney.”
After the Top 8 show, Team Blake (AKA Bryce Leatherwood, Brayden Lape, and bodie), Team Camila (AKA Morgan Myles), Team Gwen’s Aaron, and Team Legend (AKA Omar Jose Cardona, Kim Cruse, and Parijita Bastola) talked with reporters about trying to cover one of the most iconic singers of all time…
