Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

CELEBRITY WHEEL OF FORTUNE: It was a fun, if very uneven episode. And also a little confusing, because so many things were winter/holiday-themed, but then there were a few random puzzles that were “normal” or actor-themed? It should have been a little more clear.

THE VOICE: Well, I knew it was going to be painful, but that was more of a mess than I was hoping for. I think at least 2-3 contestants who left should be in the finals, so that’s an absolute bummer. Sigh.

Logistically now, with Team Blake having 60 percent of the finalists, I’m very curious how that shakes out, voting-wise. (It clearly hasn’t hurt the guys get into the finale.)

PRESS YOUR LUCK: Okay, but these were STUPID GIFTS. Stupid! Who needs or wants a sleigh? (I could make the same argument for private carolers or a Santa suit, but maaaaaybe someone does. But a sleigh??)

It was also an extremely, extremely stressful hour to watch. With a holiday episode, it didn’t matter how it went, they were kind of backed into a corner and had to air it here. And the winner was a cancer survivor, as was his wife. AND HE GAMBLED TO GO TO THE FINAL ROUND, WITH OVER $250K IN THE BANK?? I’m so glad he won and didn’t Whammy it all away, but good lord I was stressed.
