Fox Cancels MONARCH
December 7, 2022 by Marisa Roffman
MONARCH has ended its run—Fox will not bring the musical drama back for a second season.
The first season—which starred Susan Sarandon, Anna Friel, Beth Ditto, and Trace Adkins—concluded on Tuesday, December 6. The series was originally set to bow in early 2022, but the pandemic pushed its launch to Fall 2022.
Deadline was first to report the cancellation.
