MRS. DAVIS: Peacock Sets April Launch for New Betty Gilpin-Jake McDorman Drama

Peacock series MRS. DAVIS will debut on Thursday, April 20, the streamer announced. The first four episodes will debut at once, before moving to a weekly release for its remaining four hours.
According to Peacock, “MRS. DAVIS is an exploration of faith versus technology — an epic battle of biblical and binary proportions. Betty Gilpin stars alongside Jake McDorman and Andy McQueen as Simone, a nun who goes to battle against an all-powerful Artificial Intelligence known as ‘Mrs. Davis.’ McDorman plays Gilpin’s rebellious ex, who also has a personal vendetta against the Algorithm.”
The series comes from writers Tara Hernandez (who will showrun the drama) and Damon Lindelof, with Owen Harris and Alethea Jones directing.
Ben Chaplin, Margo Martindale, David Arquette, Elizabeth Marvel, Katja Herbers, Chris Diamantopoulo, Ashley Romans, Tom Wlaschiha, and Mathilde Ollivier also recur on the series.
