NBC Makes Midseason Changes
January 12, 2023 by Marisa Roffman
NBC has shifted its plans for Sundays and set a premiere date for GRAND CREW.
FOUND, which was supposed to bow on February 19, will now be moved to Fall 2023. The network is also ordering additional scripts.
“After watching the first few episodes of FOUND, it quickly became clear that our love for this show has continued to grow and grow with each step of the process,” said Susan Rovner, Chairman, Entertainment Content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, in a statement. “Our goal is always to find the absolute best home for all our series, and it’s particularly the case with one as important as this. By moving it to fall, we’re able to better leverage our resources, including lead-in and marketing muscle, enabling us to launch FOUND to the largest possible audience across all our platforms.”
This means MAGNUM P.I. will have a supersized launch at NBC, airing back-to-back episodes at 9/8c and 10/9c on Sunday, February 19. Additionally, NBC will air two MAGNUM P.I. season 4 encores from 7-9 PM that night. (The show will air original episodes at 9/8c moving forward.)
THE BLACKLIST will also now air at 10/9c on February 26 for its season premiere.
Additionally, GRAND CREW will bow on Friday, March 3 at 8:30/7:30c.
