FBI: INTERNATIONAL Post-Mortem: Heida Reed Warns of Trouble Ahead for Jamie and Ben

FBI: INTERNATIONAL’s Jamie (Heida Reed) and Ben (Miklós Bányai) may have made it through their first little relationship hiccup—and he and his sister made Jamie donuts!—but a bumpy road is coming.
“Their connection becomes deeper,” Reed tells Give Me My Remote via email. “Jamie is really happy. But not for long.”
As Jamie worked the case of a missing American in “He Who Speaks Dies,” she and Ben kept in contact—but she hid their step into romance from the team. “She’ll probably want to keep things as private as possible,” Reed acknowledges. “She knows she’ll have to work with him again, but at least it’s not on every case.”
If and when the team finds out, there is a built-in complication: Jamie used to be involved with her Fly Team boss/colleague Scott (Luke Kleintank). “It won’t be easy [if she decides to tell him],” Reed says. “She’ll want to keep the relationship separate from the Fly Team as long as possible. And possibly try and spare Scott’s feelings—or at least not make it awkward.”
Looking ahead, Reed admits she’s “as excited as the fans to find out what is next for Jamie, personally.” And, in the meantime, she’s very excited about the upcoming FBI franchise crossover. “It will be a super cool story set in Rome and we’re filming the entire episode there!”
