QUANTUM LEAP Post-Mortem: Nanrisa Lee on Ben’s Revelation

[Warning: This post contains spoilers for the Monday, March 13 episode of QUANTUM LEAP, “Ben Song for the Defense.”]

There was some good news for QUANTUM LEAP’s Ben (Raymond Lee) during the Monday, March 13 episode, “Ben Song for the Defense”—he remembered a member of the team.

The not-as-fun news? Unfortunately for Jenn (Nanrisa Lee), who was with Ben for the mission as he embodied a public defender, it wasn’t her. (Instead, Ben remembered Magic, via a story from Jenn.)

“I’m upset in real life that that got written,” Nanrisa Lee jokes to Give Me My Remote in the video below. “You go in and you have this whole relationship with somebody, and then they have no recollection. It’s like getting rejected, you know, to your face. You think you’re gonna have this really sincere, tender moment with somebody, and it’s completely one-sided.”

Putting aside any (fairly) hurt feelings, Ben remembering more of his life pre-leaping is a good thing, Lee acknowledges. “Any recollection, any memory, that Ben is going to have, of course, is good news,” she says. “The more information the better, because then the more information we can receive [about what’s going on].”
