AMERICAN AUTO Exclusive Clip: Cyrus Asks Katherine to Help Him Design a Car

With Katherine (Ana Gasteyer) still reeling from her divorce, she decides to shake things up on the Tuesday, March 28 episode of AMERICAN AUTO.

After Katherine suggests they bring fresh designs to their cars, Cyrus (Michael Benjamin Washington) takes a chance and shows her what he’s been working on.

“I’m stuck,” he admits in the exclusive clip below. “Like, I want to make something that’s extraordinary, but I’ve been ‘designing cars for the masses’ for so long, that I feel trapped by my own—”

“Mediocrity?” Katherine, uh, helpfully suggests.

Cyrus takes the hit and has a request: Will she help him design a car?

Katherine is surprised, noting she thought Cyrus always looked down on her. “Well, if I did come off that way, it’s probably because I’m so insecure,” Cyrus deadpans. “But I bet you always saw through it.”
