ABC Renews THE GOOD DOCTOR

ABC has renewed THE GOOD DOCTOR for its seventh season, the network announced.
According to ABC, “After 7 days of viewing across linear and digital platforms, the most-recent episode of “The Good Doctor” (on 4/10/23) grew to 7.9 million Total Viewers, marking its most-watched multiplatform telecast since its October 2022 season premiere.” The series also celebrated its 100th episode in November ’22.
This marks the third renewal for ABC this week, after they also picked up new seasons of THE ROOKIE and WILL TRENT. (ABBOTT ELEMENTARY and GREY’S ANATOMY were picked up earlier in the year.)
THE GOOD DOCTOR season 6 will conclude on Monday, May 1.
