May 2, 2023 by Marisa Roffman
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE is the latest show to go to repeats amidst the current WGA strike.
“The previously announced SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE hosted by Pete Davidson and musical guest Lil Uzi Vert is cancelled due to the writers’ strike,” NBC said in a statement. “SNL will air repeats until further notice starting Saturday, May 6.”
The series had not announced its final intended hosts and musical acts beyond this week’s planned new episode.
For more information on the ongoing strike, the WGA released the latest on where they stood in negotiating with studios.
