About Last Night…THE VOICE and THAT’S MY JAM

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Oh, I hate this format. I didn’t write about it last week, but eliminating 60 percent of the contestants performing is just a mess. And it wasn’t even the coaches pick two people and then America votes in another per team. I hate this so much. (To the point I literally said this out loud while watching.) And now we’re going to have two weeks to crown a winner? This is too brutal and definitely doesn’t serve the contestants.

THAT’S MY JAM: JoJo Siwa’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the style of Eminem was an absolute masterpiece. I get she can’t win off of that, but my God, that was bonkers. But it was great to see Nikki Glaser get to sing again after her time on THE MASKED SINGER.

I felt bad for Jenna Dewan, who was very clearly even attempting to sing—she was fun on the show, but did she not realize she should have to sing at least in the very final round?
