ABC Renews THE CONNERS and NOT DEAD YET

ABC has renewed THE CONNERS and NOT DEAD YET.

THE CONNERS, which will be entering its sixth season, will celebrate its 100th episode next season. The comedy stars John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, Jayden Rey, and Jay R. Ferguson.

NOT DEAD YET will return for its season season. The comedy follows “Nell Stevens (Gina Rodriguez), a broke and newly single self-described disaster, working to restart the life and career she left behind 10 years ago. When she lands the only job she can find – writing obituaries – Nell starts getting life advice from an unlikely source. The series is adapted from the book ‘Confessions of a 40-something F**k Up’ by Alexandra Potter.” David Windsor and Casey Johnson serve as creators.

With these pickups now official, ABC has just THE ROOKIE spinoff THE ROOKIE: FEDS and comedy HOME ECONOMICS left—from shows that aired in-season—on the bubble.
